Singapore Life #35 – Boat Quay at Night

Key loves to take photos at night and he has very nicely let me show you these pictures that he took of Boat Quay at night.

Because I am not the best at editing night photos, I’ve left these as is :)

Boat Quay can be a bit touristy along the restaurant / pub filled waterfront, but it has an excellent back drop of old shop houses and new skyscrapers which look amazing lit up at night. I’m not sure where exactly, but somewhere along that row of lights is where we go to trivia most weeks.

On the night we wandered into town with the tripod, there was a lovely cool breeze blowing along the riverfront and I think it’s the coolest that I’ve ever felt while being outdoors in Singapore.

While Key snapped away, I sat on the edge of the water people watching and just generally relaxing.

Parliament House.

That almost UFO like building is the Supreme Court.

I will miss this skyline when we move back to Canberra.

Hi! I’m Taryn. The Wooden Spoons is a food blog and collection of wooden spoons, recipes and stories. I’m a Canberra fan-girl with a passion for all things food. I love South East Asian food, fusion food done well and slow cooked anything. I don’t get quinoa, have a mild phobia of milk touching my skin and custard from a package freaks me out. Thanks for joining me on my cooking and food adventures.
